Nikki Reynolds

Owner

Nikki started working part-time at End of the Rainbow in 2000. She became a full-time teacher, and then assistant director before purchasing the center in 2005. She has always loved children and owning her own childcare center has been a lifelong dream. Nikki attended the University of Missouri - Columbia where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphases in Early Childhood and Criminal Justice. She also met her husband Jared at Mizzou. They have three sons - Brody, Gavin, and Landon. Outside of work Nikki enjoys spending time with her family, going to Mizzou football games, playing soccer, swimming, biking, and running.

Amanda Tullock

"People call me, Ms. Amanda! I am a hopeful mother, married to a wonderful army veteran, and have considered End of the Rainbow family for four years. I have an incredibly strong passion for aiding babies in their growth and development, and nothing brings me more joy than visits to my classroom from my former students. Looking into a grown child’s eyes that I used to bottle-feed while he was jumping up and down, and telling me about his day fills my heart!" Ms. Amanda has been a part of the Rainbow Family since July of 2014.

Christina is a single mother of two, Cierra age 14 and Carter age 2 1/2. Her children mean everything to her and she would move mountains for them! Christina started working in childcare immediately after graduating from high school and has been working in centers for over 15 years. A few years after graduation she completed some online early childhood education classes through Central Methodist University. Her plan is to further my education in early childhood education in the fall of 2018. Christina joined the Rainbow Family in September of 2017. She says, "I believe to make a difference you must first be the difference! ❤️"

Ami Romero-Perez

Two-Year Old Teacher

Ami has been working with children since she was 16 years old. She began as a childcare provider at her church and was a Sunday school teacher for 12 years. Ami says, "I enjoy working with children because I love to see them develop and feel great joy when they make new discoveries." Ami is from Columbia and has lived here her whole life. She earned an Associate in Arts degree from Columbia College. She has been married for 17 years and has two children, ages 15 and 11. She and her husband have been part owners of Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant for 12 years. Before she found her calling working with Preschool children, Ami worked at a veterinarian office and for the Central Missouri Humane Society. She then worked as a cook and teacher for 4 years at KinderCare Learning Center, and as a director and teacher at Tiger Side Intergenerational Preschool for a year. After taking a break to spend more time with family, Ami began working for End of the Rainbow as a substitute teacher and fell in love with the center. She has been a part of the Rainbow Family since January of 2011. Outside of work she travels with her youngest child to soccer tournaments, supports her oldest child in training for basketball, coaches basketball for Home School Communicator program for Columbia Public Schools, and spends time with her two dogs, Chester and Rico and cat, Sammy. Ami's whole family including herself and her husband play soccer.

Becky has been a teacher at End of the Rainbow for 5 years. She joined the Rainbow Family in August of 20212. She has worked with children of all ages ranging from infants to school age children but is currently a Preschool room teacher. Becky graduated from Hannibal LaGrange University with a Bachelors Degree in Child Development.

Director

Shane has been with End of the Rainbow since May of 2011. He was born and raised in Ashland, MO where he graduated in 2007. ​ Shane obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Child & Family Development from the University of Central Missouri. ​ He says, "Children have always been an important part of my life and I have always wanted to find a way to incorporate the management and business side of childcare into my job. That's why Rainbow has been the perfect fit for me. I look forward to working with you and your children here at EOR."

Dana Herzog

Dana moved to Columbia from Chicagoland in 2014 to pursue an education in Psychology. She joined the Rainbow Family in 2016 and has since been inspired to study Child Development as her specification. Dana is a full-time Infant teacher at End of the Rainbow and in her spare time she enjoys spending time reading on her front porch, meeting up with friends, and waitressing at Shiloh Bar & Grill. Dana says, "I am infatuated with watching these fragile babies grow into strong toddlers!"

Namita Satpathy

Namita has been in the childcare setting both as a supervisor and as a teacher among different age groups for almost 20 years. She has been working at End of the Rainbow since September 2007, almost 10 years, as a Toddler Floater. Namita has a Master’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Psychology. She is also CPR and First Aid certified. She says, "I love working with kids, teaching them different things and witnessing them grow. Outside of teaching I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling, singing, cooking, decorating and reading."

Katelyn Morrow

Two-Year Old Teacher

Katelyn is originally from Illinois, but has lived in Columbia for a little over 12 years. She earned an Associates degree in Elementary Education from Moberly Area Community College in 2016 and is a certified substitute teacher for Columbia Public Schools. Katelyn started working in child care at Green Meadows. She became a member of the Rainbow family in 2015 starting as a Toddler Teacher, an Infant Floater, and is now one of the Two-Year-Old teachers! She says, "I love working with kids of all ages but have found a special place within the two-year-olds. It is such a joy to watch them learn and discover a whole new world with their new found independence." Outside of work Katelyn enjoys hiking, taking long walks with her two dogs, going to movies, and coloring.

Tania Maxey

Preschool Teacher

Mrs. Tania has been with End of the Rainbow for over 7 years (since February of 2010)! She has a degree in Education and she loves to teach some Spanish to the kiddos. Tania was born and grew up in Lima, Peru. She loves dogs, her wonderful husband Stephen, and going home to visit her family, friends, and favorite place in the world - The Pacific Ocean! Aside from teaching she enjoys reading, walking, swimming and watching movies.

Robyn King

Robyn grew up in the state of California and moved to Missouri when her son was 2 years old. She has been living here for the past 20 years. Robyn obtained a degree in Early Childhood Education from William Woods University and she has been teaching for 17 years. She joined the Rainbow Family in July of 2012. She has two children who are both grown and in college. In her spare time, Robyn enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, and watching live music!
